Superintendent's Office

Dr. Beau Rees joined Weatherford ISD as Superintendent of Schools in June 2020. This school year marks the 30th year Dr. Rees has worked in public education and his 22nd year as a Superintendent of Schools. Prior to accepting the Superintendent position in Weatherford ISD, he served as Superintendent of Montgomery ISD and Graham ISD. 

 

Dr. Rees holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in political science; a master’s degree from Abilene Christian University in educational administration; and a doctorate in educational leadership from Texas Tech University. Dr. Rees has been a U.S. History teacher, Texas History Teacher, World Geography Teacher, Physical Education teacher, Assistant Principal, Elementary Principal and High School Principal.  
 
Dr. Rees and his wife, Billie, have been married 31 years and have three daughters. He enjoys being an active member of the community and currently serves as a member of the Rotary Club, Weatherford Chamber of Commerce and the Parker County Economic Development Council.
