2019-2020 School Calendar Parent Survey

Dear WISD Parents and Guardians,

We received over 1700 responses to the 2019-2020 School Calendar Preferences Survey. Based on that feedback, two draft calendars were developed. The school calendar must show 187 days for teachers and a minimum of 75,600 instructional minutes for students. Each of the draft calendars meets those requirements.

Please click on headline to view a document explaining the difference between the two calendars. The document includes results from the previous preferences survey, the two draft calendars, and the comparison between the two calendars. We ask that you look at this information carefully and vote for the calendar that you feel best meets the needs of our students, families, and staff. The survey link will be open until Monday, October 30, 2018 at 8:00 am.

Once we receive the survey data, Weatherford ISD administration will make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees.
