WISD Announces Public Hearing to Discuss the Proposed School Based Health Clinics for 2018-2019 School Year.

The Weatherford Independent School District will conduct a public hearing for the Proposed School Based Health Clinics at Weatherford ISD schools on January 15, 2018, as part of the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Education.

The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Weatherford ISD District Services Building Boardroom located at 1100 Longhorn Drive.

Texas Education Code §38.012 requires that a public hearing be held prior to changing health care services of a school. The following information must be disclosed to the public:
1. All health care services to be provided;
2. Confidentiality parameters;
3. Accessibility of medical records;
4. Funding; and
5. Security measures that will be used to protect the privacy of student medical records.

The hearing must include an opportunity for public comment on the proposal.
