WHS FFA Students "Living to Serve"

Students from the Weatherford FFA are "Living to Serve" as the last line of the FFA Motto reads. The latest service project that the group conducted was to serve a dinner to residents at the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Ft. Worth. The Ronald McDonald House allows families that are displaced from home to stay free of charge (including all meals, lodging, transportation, toiletries, laundry service, etc.) while their child is being cared for at Cook Children's Hospital NICU. Mrs. Cowden's Culinary Practicum Class at WHS prepared a delicious meal that consisted of Italian meatloaf, seasoned green beans, and macaroni salad. The FFA Students also baked fresh cookies during dinner service.
