Weatherford ISD Information

When we are involved in a police matter, we are very careful that we don’t release information that might compromise the investigation. Yet at the same time, we want to be sure we are providing necessary communications with our Weatherford ISD family.

We can now share with you that late yesterday afternoon we were made aware of an implied bomb threat that was carved into a desktop at Weatherford High School.

The school district immediately notified the Weatherford Police Department. After thoroughly investigating the matter it was deemed there was no imminent threat. The individual responsible for this message has now been apprehended.

We appreciate your concerns. Please know that in situations like this we will communicate what we can. The Weatherford Police Department will be releasing a statement later this morning.
