Tell us about your family.
My family is very special to me. I have been married to my husband Doug for 12 years now. He works at Plains Capital Bank in Weatherford as a commercial lender. We have three beautiful and "wild" children: Kaden, who is 9 and loves all sports; Isaiah, who is 7, and loves soccer, crafts and discovering things outside. Both of my boys go to the fabulous, Austin Elementary. We have a daughter, Emma Raye, who is 3 years old. She loves to twirl and play like she’s a princess, but she is also rough and tough so she can play with the boys. We all enjoy serving together at Northside Baptist Church here in Weatherford.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I have always wanted to go to Ireland. I see how beautiful it is in the romance movies I watch and I would love to travel there and see it myself.
Name one thing that many people don’t know about you.
I love to garden. Every Spring I design, plant, and grow a large garden with my family. I can even run a tiller by myself. : )
What do you love most about working in public education?
I love the relationships. I am allowed the opportunity to serve in a great community. I love getting to know the students, their families, our staff, and other people that make a large impact on the future of our students.
