Horseshoe Bend Suggested Evacuation

Weatherford ISD has been notified by Parker County emergency personnel that a suggested evacuation is in place for residents living in Horseshoe Bend to be out of their homes by 8:00 pm this evening due to potential flooding.

Parents living in the Horseshoe Bend neighborhood should contact the school office if they need to pick up their child before the end of school today.

Bus Information
First Student buses traveling to Horseshoe Bend will drop off students at Mary’s Café located at 5090 Tin Top Road this afternoon at the following approximate times:
• Elementary 4:30 pm
• Secondary 5:00 pm
First Student will also pick up students from Mary’s Café tomorrow morning between 6:45 – 7:00 am.

As with all safety advisements, Weatherford ISD encourages our families to monitor local news stations for the most current information and to follow the instructions issued by emergency personnel.
