The boys got down 0-3 quickly in the first set but fought back to tie it at 3-3 before dropping the first set, 4-6. The second set saw better play as they settled in and took a 5-3 lead before eventually losing in a tiebreaker 3-7.
Congratulations for making it to the Regional Tournament and for representing Weatherford ISD with class. Although Thompson played his final tennis match as a Roo, he will go on to play at the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico next fall.
