The Weatherford High School graduate hit .409 during the week and tied a school record with nine RBIs in a single-game.
Each week, NCAA.com selects three top performers from the 302 Division I college baseball teams whose performances stood out among the rest. Reynolds joins California's Brian Celsi and College of Charleston's Taylor Clarke to round out the trio of players selected by the NCAA for the week ending March 8.
After going 2-for-5 at then-ranked No. 11 Texas A&M on Tuesday, Reynolds helped Dallas Baptist to a 16-0 win in the series opener against Oral Roberts by tying a school record with nine RBI. Seven of his nine runs batted in came in the fifth inning when the Patriots' designated hitter blasted a grand slam and a three-run home run. In Sunday's series finale, Reynolds delivered the eventual game-winning run with a double in the eighth inning that broke up a 2-2 tie.
For the week, Reynolds hit safely in all five games, collected 11 RBI, posted a team-best .773 slugging percentage, totaled 17 bases, and compiled a .440 on-base percentage.
Reynolds graduated from Weatherford High School in 2012 after earning All-State honors in his junior and senior seasons and All-District accolades in three consecutive years for the Kangaroos.
He moved on to WC and started two years at third base for the Coyotes, earning first team All-Conference honors as a sophomore. He hit .361 with 69 hits, 54 RBIs and nine home runs during the 2014 season.
