Holocaust survivor makes speaking impact on WHS students

Kessler was the featured speaker during Weatherford High School's MegaLunch period, and he packed the house as many WHS students were interested in learning a part of history that they were fortunate not to have lived in.

Kessler was born in Slovakia, and he was 5 years old when the Nazi armies entered the country. He and his mother were saved and hidden by courageous farmers. He now speaks to teach the lessons of the Holocaust to encourage especially young people to stand against hate and prejudice.
