WHS JV Coach Jamie Tharp said the defense came up with seven stops in the game – including an interception for a touchdown by Stanley Merchant and fumble recovery by Vance Knowles. Lane Gilley also did a bulk of the scoring through the air and on the ground.
The JV's record improves to 3-2. The Roos will travel to Arlington Martin on Thursday for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
