WHS head volleyball coach Natalie Gonzales said the Lady Roos played their best match of the season against the Lady Warriors. Freshman Kaitlyn Rogers led the offense with nine kills and no errors. Sarah Schwartz 15 kills in the contest, while Carissa Madrid added 14.
The Lady Roos finished with a season match high of 64 digs and 33 kills.
“We want to thank the crowd so much for coming out and packing the gym,” Gonzales said. “The crowd added so much fight to my girls as they were able to hang with a seasoned Martin Warriors team.”
Fans will have another opportunity to pack the gym as the Lady Roos will host the North Crowley Lady Panthers Tuesday in the WHS gym. The varsity match begins at 6:30 p.m.
