At the top of the fifth inning the Lady Roos were down 3-0, but Timber Creek's lead was short lived. The Lady Roos answered with 5 runs in the bottom of the 5th. Keller Timber Creek was only able to put one more run on the board before the Lady Roos defense shut them down.
Junior Ashleigh Erb went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for Weatherford. She doubled in the third inning and singled in the first, fifth, and sixth innings. The Lady Roos will travel to Timber Creek tonight to try and win the series to become Bi-District champs. Game time is 7 p.m.
