Candace Smith, Rachel Elbers, and Rachel Young each placed in the top two of their STAR / Proficiency events at the recent State Meet in Corpus Christi.
Smith advanced in Career Investigation, and both Elbers and Young advanced in Entrepreneurship.
"This is the first time that the Weatherford FCCLA has ever gone to Nationals," WHS Family and Consumer Science Instructor Jennifer Pool said.
Other WHS state qualifier included Emily Norris, Caitlin Cook, Cheyanne Clark, Laura Mireles, and Cheyenne McCullar.
FCCLA coaches included both Pool and Carolyn Cowden.
