The "Expanding Your Horizons" conference introduced the girls to female role models who are working in math and science related fields, provided information about career opportunities for women in science and math related careers, and allowed the students to meet with other young women in the Metroplex area who are interested in science and math.
The group from Hall was the fourth largest group represented at the event. Also, they watched a "Chemistry Magic Show," attended four exciting workshops covering topics from architecture to veterinary medicine, and enjoyed a pizza lunch from Mama's Pizza.
