All second grade classrooms participated in today’s exhibit.
S.T.A.R. is a mentoring program where adults and a few sixth graders volunteer (using reading as a tool) to read to help them with higher level projects. Also, S.T.A.R. is a pilot program within the District, and students meet once a week for 30 minutes while the sixth graders are both the facilitators and organizers.
