2020-2021 School Calendar Revision

If there is one thing we know, it’s that our teachers and staff have been amazing this year. They have persevered through the challenges of a pandemic and implemented a wide range of processes to make sure we are providing, to the best of our ability, a safe and healthy environment at our campuses. They have prepared for students learning at school or online through the Virtual Learning Academy, and have facilitated learning for students who have needed to quarantine. We are so proud of our teachers and staff!

In order to support our campus staff by giving them time for this additional workload, administration recommended changes to the 2020-2021 school calendar. The Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees approved these changes at their November 9, 2020 Regular Meeting.

The updated school calendar now includes five early release days to provide additional work time for teachers and staff on the following dates:

December 4
January 15
February 19
March 12
April 16

Early Release Days and School Times:

Elementary: 7:50 am - 12:20 pm
Middle: 8:00 am - 12:30 pm
NGC/High School: 8:15 am - 12:55 pm

Bus transportation will be provided on these early release dates at the dismissal times stated above. Daycare vans will also pick up at the early dismissal time.
