WISD Schools and Offices Closed - February 5, 2020

Weatherford ISD administrators have been closely monitoring the weather and have consulted with a meteorologist from the National Weather Service (NWS) regarding tomorrow’s forecast.

At this time, the NWS meteorologist expects precipitation to begin around 3:00 am Wednesday morning with temperatures dropping at or below freezing by 6:00 am. We anticipate road conditions will worsen throughout the morning with freezing rain and/or sleet that is expected to last until 11:00 am with a possible accumulation of 2-3 inches.

Based on this forecast from the NWS, Weatherford ISD campuses and offices will be closed on Wednesday, February 5. All extracurricular and after school activities will also be cancelled.
