- With the flu season just around the corner, pediatricians and Weatherford ISD school nurses are already recommending students get vaccinated against the flu. In partnership with the Parker County Hospital District, WISD will be hosting flu clinics offering free flu shots or FluMist.
September 21st Weatherford ISD will hos a flu shot clinic at Mary Martin Elementary.
Lynn Pool, Executive Director for Student Services said, "Weatherford ISD's partnership with the Parker County Hospital District in offering this shot clinic makes protecting your child against the flu safe, easy, and convenient. The flu is serious, but it is also preventable - and the flu vaccine is the best way to protect your family from the illness."
Parents wishing to have their children vaccinated will need to complete the attached consent form and return it to their child's campus - or - bring it with them to one of the scheduled clinics within the district. Parents do not have to be at the school for the student to have their vaccine as the permit is completed and returned to the school nurse prior to the clinic.

Friends and Family May go to the Ninth Grade Center on September 16th from 3L30-7:00 pm. Be sure to bring your ID and insurance card to this clinic.
