ParentSquare

Weatherford ISD and its campuses now use ParentSquare to communicate with families through email, text, phone call and app messages!

With ParentSquare, families can choose what methods they want to receive communication through. By default, all families will receive digest – or recap – email and text messages at 6 p.m. daily, eliminating the clutter caused by dozens of messages.

All families are sent registration emails at the start of the school year, but they can also register without this message. Families can visit www.parentsquare.com/signin to register with either the email or phone number they have on file with their child’s school.

Attendance Matters

Missing a day of school here and there may not seem like much, but absences add up.

When a student misses 2 days a month…they will miss 20 days a year. They will miss 30 HOURS of math over the school year. They will miss 60 Hours of reading & writing over the school year. They will miss 1 YEAR of school by graduation.

When a student misses 4 days a month…they will miss 40 days a year. They will miss 60 HOURS of math over the school year. They will miss 120 Hours of reading & writing over the school year. They will miss 2 YEARS of school by graduation.

2025-2026 School Calendar Survey

It’s time for us to get your input on the 2025-2026 school calendar! When developing the draft school calendar for our staff, families, and community to review, we ask members of our District Educational Improvement Council (DEIC) to take into consideration the preferences expressed by staff and WISD families along with the Texas Education Code requirements and then submit draft calendars for consideration. The DEIC has narrowed the draft calendars to three options for us to present to our staff, families, and community.
